Other than COVID cases, one more thing that also has seen rapid exponential growth is the number of meetings at work.

With so many meetings and no one taking ownership to take notes, it's hard to keep track of what gets discussed and agreed upon. With our team struggling with this issue one of my co-workers suggested using an app called Otter.

We have been using Otter for more than a year now and can not live without it.

Otter allows you to record a meeting and using its AI capabilities, transcribes the entire meeting. Its AI engine is fairly accurate and fast.

All you have to do is download the app, signup for free, and turn on the recording when you start a meeting.

Once the meeting is over Otter processes the transcripts and generates the final output. In the final output, Otter organizes the transcripts with speaker labels which is really helpful.

By Otter

We have found it really useful is when someone is not available to attend the meeting. We can just simply send them the Otter transcripts instead of debriefing them. Also since the meetings are transcribed you can easily search for specific texts, which is not possible in traditional meetings where the entire meeting is recorded as a video.

I highly recommend this app and you should give it a try.

Thanks for reading.
